Bidding Documents may be examined online by visiting www.usaplanroom.com. Project 2022-035 is located in “Public Jobs”. This will take you to the project for viewing or ordering. Bid Documents may be purchased or ordered for pick-up online for the non-refundable fee of $150.00 for each paper set or $40.00 for each digital set. The Online system will accept payment by major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express), or COD for pick-up. Documents may be sent prepaid through Federal Express or UPS. Bid Documents will be made available after 2:00 P.M. on November 9, 2022.
Documents will also be made available at FLM Reprographics, 741 Alexander Road, Princeton, New Jersey 08540, 609-987-0666, Contacts: Jeff Zanin, Ryan Morrissey. Bidders SHOULD call 24 hours in advance to ensure Bid Documents will be available.
Sealed bids will be received for a: “Single Overall Contract.”
The Owner will receive bids for the above contract in the District Offices located at Linwood School, 25 Linwood Place, BOE Parking Lot (rear of the school) North Brunswick, NJ 08902, Phone (732) 289-3022 until 11:00 A.M.; Local Time, on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 and will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The intended scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: complete removal of existing roofing systems, related flashings and accessories at the school; exposing existing substrates. Patch or repair any existing substrates found to be damaged and/or deteriorated, as well as any and all preparation work required to satisfy the conditions required by the specified manufacturers prior to commencing installation of all final work. Additionally, the Work includes the removal and reinstallation of existing mechanical, electrical and plumbing components and equipment necessary to complete the project as intended within the Contract Documents. Also include is removal and reinstallation of existing gas piping that is to be raised up off the roofing surface to a new height elevation to allow for ease of construction/roof replacement; removal and reinstallation of existing electrical conduit piping that is to be raised up off the roofing surface to a new height elevation to allow for ease of construction/roof replacement. Coordinated shut-downs of these systems will be required for the Project and must be included in the construction schedule.

Substantial Completion of the work is scheduled for May 19, 2023 and shall be fully complete on or before May 31, 2023.
